Feature Control

Admins can choose to control several features for the whole Confluence instance.

The features that can be controled are:

  • Launch Button

  • Notifications

  • Templates

Turning a feature off prevents users from using it. It does not remove any content already created with the feature.

  1. Click Forms For Confluence from the Apps menu in the left hand navigation menu.

  2. Click Admin Settings from the Forms homepage.

Launch Button

This option allows you to remove the quick launch button from the edit page. When turned on this helps users to quickly add a form to their page without needing to use the + Add Macro button.

Notifications

This option allows you to disable email notifications. When turned off your users will no longer have the option to activate email notifications when form responses are submitted.

Templates

We have created a collection of templates with Forms embedded in them. These can be found in the Confluence template section. When you install or update Forms for Confluence this collection is updated.

You can check if you have the latest collection of templates using this section. If you are not up to date you can click Sync templates now to get the latest templates.
