Internal Response Database
The internal response database stores submissions inside Confluence.
This is the most common way to capture responses, as it allows you to view, export, and report on results securely.
Key Features
- Each form is tied to a Form ID, and responses are stored in the database against that ID.
- Responses remain in Confluence until deleted.
- Data can be exported at any time.
Configure the Internal Database
Global administrators can create forms with different backend types. To create a form with an internal database, you must choose the correct destination type when setting up a new Form ID.
- Go to .
- Select Add New Form Configuration.
- Enter a unique Form ID.
- Choose Internal Database as the destination type.
- Click Save.
Warning: Space admins can only create forms with internal databases.
