View the Forms Migration Report on Data Center
Learn what to expect and how to prepare when migrating Forms for Confluence Data Center.
You must be a Confluence administrator to access this page.
To open the report:
- Go to Confluence Administration.
- Select Forms for Confluence under Configuration.
- Scroll to the Export Report section at the bottom of the page
Forms Migration Report
The Forms Migration Report helps you track the progress and results of migrating Forms from Confluence Data Center to Confluence Cloud using the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA).
Forms provides a report on both your Data Center and Cloud sites:

| Data Center | Export status, forms, responses, attachments, per-space migration details, durations, and any export warnings or failures. |
| Cloud | Migration status, forms and responses imported, Data Center to Cloud page mappings, per-space migration details, durations, and any migration issues. |
View the Forms Migration Report on Cloud
To open the report:
- Open Confluence administration.
- Under Apps, select Forms migration report.
Understand the Report Summary
Each migration appears as a separate report identified by its Migration ID.
The summary table lets you quickly see the overall state of each migration before expanding it for more detail.
The table includes:

|---|---|
| Migratio ID | The unique identifier for the migration. This matches the Migration ID shown in both Data Center and Cloud. |
| Status | The current overall status of the migration or export. |
| Last updated | When the report was last updated. |
| Total duration | The total time taken for the migration or export. |
View Migration Details
Expanding a report provides more detailed information about the migration.
Depending on whether you're viewing the Data Center or Cloud report, you can see:
- progress for Forms and attachment migration
- forms and responses migrated in each space
- migration durations
- warnings or issues that require attention
- downloadable JSON reports for troubleshooting
- Data Center to Cloud page mappings (Cloud only)
Use this information to verify that your migration completed successfully and to investigate any problems.
Verify a Successful Migration
- Find the same Migration ID in both reports.
- Confirm the Data Center report completed successfully.
- Confirm the Cloud report completed successfully.
- Compare the number of forms and responses for each migrated space.
- Verify that the expected Data Center pages have been mapped to the correct Cloud pages.
- Review any warnings or issues before considering the migration complete.
Understand Migration Statuses
The report displays the current status of both the overall migration and the individual migration phases.
Overall Status
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Pending | The export has been created but has not started yet. |
| In Progress | Forms is currently exporting data. |
| Export success | The export completed successfully. |
| Failed | The export could not be completed. |
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| In Progress | Cloud is still processing the migration. |
| Sucess | The migration completed successfully. |
| Failed | The migration did not complete successfully. |
Troubleshoot Migration Issues
If your migration doesn't complete successfully, the report can help identify where the problem occurred.
Review warning and issues
The Data Center report lists export warnings, while the Cloud report lists migration issues.
These may include problems such as:
- attachments that couldn't be migrated
- migration failures
- import errors
Check page mappings
The Cloud report includes the original Data Center page IDs alongside their corresponding Cloud page IDs.
Use this information to confirm that forms were migrated to the expected pages.
Missing attachments
If attachments appear to be missing:
- Review any warnings in the Data Center report.
- Check the attachment migration status in the Cloud report.
- Review any migration issues reported in Cloud.
Attachments that exceed the supported migration size limit are reported in the Data Center report.

You can download the report for further analysis.
Available download formats include:
- JSON for detailed migration information.
- CSV (Data Center only) for reviewing export information in spreadsheet applications.
