Mail Server Configuration

Forms can send responses to email addresses using the Confluence mail server.

Forms can send responses to email addresses using the Confluence mail server. By default, Forms for Confluence uses the site's existing mail server configuration, so most users do not need to make changes.

If you want to use a different mail server specifically for form responses:

Log in as a Confluence Administrator.
Go to Confluence Administration → Forms for Confluence → Mail Server Configuration .
Select Add New Mail Server Configuration.
Enter the server details (host, port, authentication, etc.).
Note: If you want to prevent emails from being flagged as spam, you can also remove the bulk mail header from outgoing messages.
Click Save.
