Space Administrator Permissions

Space Administrators can manage Form IDs for their space from the Forms for Confluence page inside Space Tools.

Key Permissions Information

  • Space Admins can create and manage Form IDs, but only with the Internal Database destination type.
  • Space Admins cannot create Email Relay destinations or integrate with Jira.
  • Confluence Admins can still see and edit Form IDs created at the space level.

In the configuration table, Form IDs are labeled by scope so you can easily see whether an ID is Global (created by a Confluence Admin) or Space-specific.

Note: If you need email relay or Jira integration, ask a Confluence Administrator to create a Form ID for you.

Create new Form ID

  1. Click Add a New Form Configuration.
  2. Enter a Form ID.
  3. In the Response Macro Permission field select which types of users can view responses in the Responses Table macro.
  4. Complete the optional fields
    1. Notifications - Choose if/when you receive an email notification about responses.
    2. Single Submission - When checked, users can only submit a single response to the form.
    3. Submission Override - When checked with Single Submission users can submit subsequent responses that will overwrite the previous response from the same user.
    4. Description - Add a description for the Form Configuration page, to help users select the correct ID.
    5. Success Html - Add a custom success message shown to users when they submit the form.
  5. Click Save.
