ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud provides you with Deprecation Reports that highlight the usage of Atlassian's deprecated endpoints and fields in your instance.

As per Atlassian's changelog notification, the Parent Link field will be deprecated from some endpoint responses and webhook events and no longer available for use after June 13th 2025.

This deprecation affects how the Parent Link field is referenced in REST APIs. You can replace this field with the Parent field.

Please ensure your custom scripts or Marketplace apps no longer reference this field. 

The original deprecation date was announced as May 31st 2025, but has been extended to June 13th 2025.

Relates to company-managed and team-managed projects.

May 2025September 13th 2025

As per Atlassian's changelog notification, the Epic Link field will be deprecated from some endpoint responses and webhook events and no longer available for use after September 13th 2025.

This deprecation affects how the Epic Link field is referenced in REST APIs. You can replace this field with the Parent field.

Please ensure your custom scripts or Marketplace apps no longer reference this field. 

The original deprecation date was announced as May 31st 2025, but has been extended to September 13th 2025.

Relates to company-managed and team-managed projects.

March 2025August 1st 2025

As per Atlassian's changelog notification, the following Jira Platform REST endpoints will be deprecated and no longer available for use after August 1st 2025:

The original deprecation date was announced as May 1st 2025. However, an extension has been granted for ScriptRunner users until August 1st 2025.
