Query Converter

The Enhanced Search Query Converter converts your Enhanced Search queries into the correct format for native Jira searching.

Copy queries into the Query Converter

Select Created By You.
Select Show Details on the filter you would like to convert.
Select Convert to Forge.
This copies your Enhanced Search filter query directly in the Query Converter.

Click on the Try the Forge Query Converter link in the banner of the Enhanced Search home page.
Enter your query into the Connect Syntax (Input) textbox.
Click Convert.
Your script will be generated in the Forge Syntax (Output) textbox.
Decide what you want to do with the converted query next.
You can:
- Copy Output to paste it where you want.
- Select Search in Jira to have your converted query added to the Jira search in a new tab.
- Click the X to exit the Converter Query tool to go back to the Enhanced Search homepage.
