One of the most effective ways to stay up to date with your team in Threaded Comments is receiving notifications. Notifications are sent via email when a team member tags you in a comment.

Q:
Why do I need to sign-up for email notifications? Isn't there a way to get notified in-app?
A:
Unfortunately, there is currently no way for Threaded Comments to deliver in-app notifications. This is due to limitations for the Power-Up in the Trello platform. With this in mind, the Orah team has found that email notifications are a simple and effective way to deliver notice within groups using Threaded Comments.
If you haven't opted in to email notifications, visit the Email Preferences page via Settings in Threaded Comments.
Q:
I'm hesitant to use my email address. Will my inbox be inundated with messages from Threaded Comments if I sign-up for notifications?
A:
Our notification system will only send one message each time a team member tags you in a card. You'll never receive ads or excessive messaging from us. Also, opt out on the Settings page at any time to stop receiving notifications immediately.
