What if I want to embed styles directly in the HTML?

We don't recommend doing this as it will prevent them from being cached and will also increase the size of every HTML page generated by Confluence.

However, if you want to embed styles in this way, use Confluence's Custom HTML feature (which can be found in the Administration Console) and add your markup to the <head> section.
