Hi,

I'm using Confluence 2.8.2 and evaluating Theme Builder 3.2.0. I've come across an issue with the Choose Layout option with Internet Explorer (version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254CO), but the same steps work fine with Firefox. Unfortunately IE is the standard browser in my company and changing to Firefox is not an option for 10,000+ users. Nor is upgrading to a later version of IE.

The issue occurs after following these steps:

1) In Confluence, view a page from a wiki space you administer.
2) From the Edit menu, choose Administration - Choose Layout.
3) Internet Explorer will try to refresh the page, but the following prompt will appear:

4) After clearing the prompt only the page background is applied and no content appears.

On some occassions the behaviour changes so that this prompt is shown:

This wiki space only contains a single page, called Home. After clearing the prompt the navigation tree appears to remain in a "hung" state:

    With regards to the Choose Layout screen, we'd appreciate your feedback on this: Choose Layout screen - should we change it?

    With regards to the page tree, does the page tree work when you visit this page?

    What browser and Confluence version are you using? Which JVM are you using (let me guess: WebSphere?)

    Was there a resolution for this problem as we are encountering the same issue.

    We are using

    Confluence 2.7.3 Build 1116
    Themebuilder 3.1.4
    Internet Explorer 6.0.2800.1106CO SP1
    JVM Implementation Version 1.5.0_09-b03

      Upgrade to 3.3.3 ... upgrading to the latest version should be your first response to finding an issue.

        We have upgraded to themebuilder version 3.3.3 and confluence 2.7.3 and this problem still occurs. Is there a known solution?

          Are you seeing any exceptions in your logs?

          Do you have your site's base url configured correctly?
