Discover Venue.sh from your AI tool
29 June release
Any MCP client (e.g., Cursor or Claude Desktop) can now list the endpoint's resources and prompts alongside its existing tools.
- Getting-started guide - A markdown resource that covers the endpoint's capabilities with example workflows.
- Tool catalog - A live resource listing every available tool, its category, and its input schema.
- Enabled plugins - A resource scoped to your organization showing which integrations are enabled.
- Catalog entities - A resource template for fetching a bounded list of catalog entities by kind (e.g., Component, API, Template).
- Guided prompts - Two new prompts,
how-to-search-catalogandhow-to-search-code, walk an AI tool through the right sequence of tool calls for common tasks.
Existing tool calls are unaffected. See Venue MCP Endpoint for how to connect.

SKILL.mdcontent, triggers, author, version, and license.

Catalog your MCP Servers
16 June release
Add an MCP server by its URL and Venue.sh connects to it and extracts what it offers.
- Registration - Add a server by URL; Venue.sh pulls its tools, resources, and prompts.
- Discovery - Browse registered servers in a searchable list. Each server has a detail page listing its capabilities.
- Lifecycle - Refresh a server's capabilities, edit its details, or remove it when you no longer need it.
See MCP Servers for details.
Skills are now discovered automatically
16 June release
Skills are reusable AI workflow instructions you write in SKILL.md files. Repository content ingestion now finds them across your connected Git repositories and adds them to the catalog.
- Venue.sh scans connected repositories for
SKILL.mdfiles and keeps the catalog in sync as those repositories change. - Each skill's detail page shows its metadata, triggers, and rendered
SKILL.mdcontent.
See Skills for details.
Bug fix
16 June release
- Fixed an issue where users could not create a new Scorecard.
The Assistant can now read your repositories
03 June release
Enable repository ingestion and summary in Settings. The Assistant can then answer questions about a repository's code and produce project summaries.
An Entity Summary tab shows the AI-generated summary on the repository's catalog entity page.
See AI Settings for setup details.
Control how hard the Assistant thinks
03 June release
Set the Assistant's thinking effort per model. Higher effort buys deeper reasoning and costs you response time. See Assistant for more on working with the Assistant.
