23 September release

  • Development Insights now accepts DORA events from external CI/CD and incident tools.

  • Template launches refresh the tasks list without a full page reload, and long pages no longer show two vertical scrollbars.

14 September release

  • OAuth-gated MCP servers work from the Assistant now, and there is a My Connections page to manage them.

  • Repository ingestion moved out of the dashboard into backend workers that can process many repos in one run.

  • Bugs related to Last Signed In, Active Devices, and Docs Hub were fixed.

  • Additional fixes and improvements.

August 2026 summary

25 August release

  • This release retires the old pass/fail scorecard rule. You now define ordered tiers, and an entity or repository earns the highest tier it can actually clear.

  • The catalog table lists recently changed entities first.

  • Tools on the Venue MCP Endpoint carry annotations, so clients such as Cursor and Claude Code can tell a read-only lookup from something that writes.

  • Additional fixes and improvements.

19 August release

  • You can now mint your own API key from Settings and point an MCP client or script at Venue.sh without filing a request with an administrator.

  • The Venue MCP Endpoint also moved to the 2026-07-28 protocol revision.

  • Additional fixes and improvements.

06 August release

  • Scorecards can now check the files inside a repository as well as its catalog metadata.

  • Multi-repository imports let you set shared metadata once instead of row by row.

  • And you can ask the Assistant about delivery performance in plain language.

July 2026 summary

30 July release

  • You can now define Agents: named assistants with their own instructions and their own set of tools. Pick one from the Assistant header, and it answers using only what you gave it.

  • Separately, the Assistant can read your Development Insights dashboards, so a delivery question gets real panel data back rather than a plausible-looking number.

28 July release

  • Development Insights has a DORA dashboard. It tracks the four DORA metrics for your organization, places each one in its benchmark tier from the DORA research, and lets you click through to the deployments, pull requests, and incidents behind every number.

27 July release

  • Enterprise admins can wire up their own SSO provider from Settings, with no support ticket in between.

  • Everyone else can use ⌘K to jump to any page in the dashboard.

13 July release

  • The Assistant now lives in a sidebar you can open from anywhere in the dashboard. Ask a question, hand it the page you're looking at, or pick up a conversation you started last week.

  • Repository ingestion now copes better with large codebases.

June 2026 summary

Jump to the detailed view.

29 June release

  • The Venue MCP endpoint now publishes resources and prompts, so your AI tool can see what it can do before you write a prompt by hand.

  • The Assistant can now read your Skill catalog.

16 June release

  • Venue.sh now catalogs your MCP servers and the Skills already sitting in your Git repositories. Register a server by URL and Venue.sh reads its capabilities for you.

03 June release

  • Turn on repository ingestion, and the Assistant can answer questions about the code in your imported repositories.

  • You can now dial the Assistant's thinking effort up or down per model.

20 May release

  • You no longer have to wait for the next scheduled sync to see fresh Development Insights data.

  • Trigger data collection yourself, watch each repository's pipeline run, and retry any that fail.
