Release Notes

The Orah team is working hard to improve your Trello experience. When we make changes, we'll let you know about them!

Here are the types of changes you can expect to be notified about:

• New Features - Brand new power-up functionality to help you get the most out of Trello.
• Updates - We want you to be aware of changes to our power-ups, large and small.
• Bugs Fixed - Issues we've resolved to make our power-ups work as designed.

January 2023

Bugs fixed

• A bug preventing Trello authentication with Orah apps for Safari users is removed.
• A bug that prevented export actions from behaving as expected for users of the Safari and Firefox browsers is removed.
• Security and back-end updates were implemented.

Time Tracking

New feature

• We've added a timer, one of the most highly requested features! 
  • The Start timer button appears on every card once the Time Tracking and Reporting Power-up is activated on a board.
  • Use this feature to easily keep track of your hours in real-time while working on a Trello card.

Bug fixed

• A bug causing hours logged via the timer function to appear in Reports with an incorrect date is removed.
• A bug causing unexpected behavior when the timer is stopped and returned to at a later time is removed.

Time Tracking

Updates

• Access Reports and Timelogs from directly inside a card!  
• Log time directly in a card using the Log Time button.
• Each card with logged time now displays previous logs in a table. Edit or delete previously logged time in the table.
• Create Time Logs directly from the Reports screen. Making additions and adjustments is easier than ever!
• Filter by date in the Reporting screen.
• Exported time logs are updated.
• Mark a worklog as billable and view Billable hours in the Reports screen.
• Expand cards and worklogs in the Reporting screen to see additional details about an entry.
• Search and select for groups of cards, members, or labels in the Reporting screen.

Bugs fixed

• A bug preventing reports from downloading in some cases was removed.
• A bug found in login caching was removed.
• A bug preventing the successful logging of entries with similar start and end dates was removed.
• A bug preventing worklogs from sorting correctly during some searching scenarios was removed.
• A bug causing the default search page to display incorrectly was removed.

November 2022

Threaded Comments

Updates
Out of beta!

• The Threaded Comments Power-Up has reached the end of the beta stage and is now available for purchase with the Orah store. 
• If you've used the Power-Up previously, you may need to clear your browser cache to access the newest features. Use your browser's Settings options to access and clear the cache.
• When your license expires, comments are still accessible in a read-only mode.

Bugs fixed

• We fixed a bug that caused an error for users installing the Power-Up on a second board.

Time Tracking

• We removed a bug that was causing the Log Time option to close unexpectedly when accessed from a card in some situations.

• We've improved error handling by providing an updated notification system. The Customer Support portal has been made more accessible to access in-app when an error occurs.

Board Export

Bug fixed

• A bug causing some PDF exports to fail has been removed.
• A bug causing problems with text copied and pasted from PDF exports to other sources is removed.

Threaded Comments

Bugs fixed

• We removed a bug that caused email notifications to fail in some circumstances:
  • When the owner user board is removed from the workspace
  •  When creating or updating a threaded comment, mentioning a user whose parent comment was removed.
• An unexpected error has been removed in which email notifications were not sent when a comment was updated to include a user tag.
• A bug causing display errors when viewing Threaded Comments in Incognito mode has been removed.

• We removed a bug that caused webhooks to fail in some situations.

• We removed a bug that caused an error with some exports containing a large volume of cards.

• We removed a bug that was causing Board Export downloads to fail on the Trello Mac OS app in some circumstances.
• We removed a bug that caused some images to show an error instead of displaying correctly with Board Export.

Threaded Comments

Updates

•  When using a tag in a comment, the commenter will be notified via a badge if a user has not signed up for email notifications.
• An Email Address field has been added on the Notifications Settings page. This can be used to verify or change a user's email address. 

Time Tracking

Update

• The number of cards allowed to be included in exports has been increased for the Time Tracking Power-up.

Bug fixed

• A bug causing mismatched time log dates in the Time Tracking Power-up is removed.

Platform

Bug fixed

• A bug preventing the Billing tab from updating to reflect successful standard license purchases has been removed.

• Now, markdown options are available in Threaded Comments! 
  • Use basic markdown for font bolding, italics, and underlining to add customization or increase clarity in your messages.
• Main comments now support attached images and other files.
  • Use the Attach option to select a desired image or file when creating a main comment.

• The Board Export Power-Up now contains a Customization menu.
  • Use this menu to select export preferences for Excel.
• Cards for Time Tracking and Reporting now feature a Description field.

  • As helpful as our Due Next power-up is, we're happy to report that our power-up is now better than ever!
  • We've streamlined the power-up's look and feel and given it a bit more muscle by expanding the number of filters and providing export options for results.
