Welcome to Voting Export! Learn about our app designed to make extracting voting data from Miro efficient and straightforward.

Does your team use Miro to review, plan, or make decisions? If so, Voting Export could be for you! The Voting Export app allows users to export data for voting activities on Miro boards via CSV files.

Install Voting Export from the Miro Marketplace

Note: Admin must install

A team member with administrator access must install Voting Export from the Miro Marketplace. Then, any team member can add it to any board within the organization.

  1. Open a Miro board.
  2. Click Tools, Media, and Integrations from the sidebar options.
  3. Search for Voting Export in the Marketplace tab.
  4. Click to select the app, then click Allow.
    You're taken back to the board, and Voting Export is now available in the sidebar options.

Add Voting Export to a Miro Board

  1. Open a Miro board.
  2. Click Tools, Media, and Integrations from the sidebar options.
  3. Find and click Voting Export in the Tools section.
Voting Export opens and is ready to use.

How to use

Note: The Voting Export app works only with the Miro Voting function. We do not currently support the Vote with Dots option.

Voting Export works with new and previous voting sessions on your selected board.

To export voting data:

  1. Select Voting Export from the Tools, Media, and Integrations sidebar option.
    Voting sessions available for export will appear. They will be numbered, and the data and time of the voting session will be shown for clarity.
  2. Click the Download icon next to the voting session for which you want to export data.
    Tip: Alternatively, you can click Export all to create a single file with the data from all voting sessions held on the particular board.
    A CSV file will download to your browser with your selected data.

The downloaded file will contain data for the following voting data fields:

  • Session Title
  • Session Creator ID
  • Session Creator Name
  • Session Date
  • Item ID
  • Item Content
  • Item URL
  • Vote Count
