ScriptRunner features in Jira screens

The following ScriptRunner features are configured from standard Jira screens rather than only from the ScriptRunner menu:

  • In the Workflow editor, you attach ScriptRunner workflow rules and add expression-based validators or restrictions.
  • In Global automation, you use the Run a script (ScriptRunner) action in automation rules.
  • For Scripted fields, you can create them directly in ScriptRunner, or create them in Jira like any other custom field and then configure the script in ScriptRunner.
