Release Notes
There are two types of releases for Recurring Tasks - minor and major. You don't need to do anything for minor updates, as these are served to you automatically. But when there is a major update, you need to take action to get all the new features and improvements.
Here are the changes we document in the Release Notes:

- Bug Fixes - Issues we've resolved to make the app work as intended.
Version 2.17.0 - 15th July 2024
Bug Fix
- We fixed an issue where recurring tasks could not be created if the time tracking column had a null value.
Version 2.16.0 - 11th July 2024
Bug Fix
- We fixed an issue where if there were some scheduled tasks were not being created due to an internal error.
Version 2.15.0 - 10th July 2024

- We fixed an issue where tasks were created with an incorrect date if the timezone had a negative offset.
Version 2.14.0 - 24th June 2024
Update
- If you specify a time in the date column for an item, that time is carried across when items are added to your monday.com board by Recurring Tasks.

- We fixed a problem where an "unexpected error" message was displayed if you tried to save a recurring task with no date value set.

- We fixed a problem with the license IDs that started occurring after a monday.com update.
Version 2.11.0 - 5th June 2024
New Features
- We've added an automatic scheduling feature that allows you to create recurring tasks on the day they are due or on the day before. This will help you if your board becomes overcrowded when all instances of a recurring task are created at once.

- We fixed a bug in which the Recurring Tasks creation form was not reset after submission.
Version 2.6.0 - 12th February 2024
Updates
- We've added an undo option. After creating a recurring task, you can undo it. This is great for when you realize you've made a mistake and need to get rid of all the tasks you just created.
- Added a tooltip to the start date clear button, to help users understand what it does.
- Updated the error message shown to users who only have viewer permissions. It now explains why they can't access the app.

- Fixed an issue where recurring tasks couldn't be created when column types connected_boards or dependent_on were present.
Version 2.1.0 - 27th September 2023
Updates
- We improved the process for creating recurring tasks in the following ways:
- We have simplified the repetition selection process to make getting the required recurrence pattern easier.
- Added the option for repetition to occur more than once per week, e.g., every Monday and Wednesday.
- Added some tips for new users to guide them through the process.
- Added a warning to let users know when their chosen recurrence pattern doesn't create any dates
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where items were not created in the expected pattern when using the Working Days pattern.
- Fixed an issue where items were not created in the expected pattern when using the Week pattern.
Major Update
Version 2.0.0 - 31st July 2023
New Feature
You can now create recurring subitems. You have all the same options for subitems as for tasks, giving you more control over your board.
