Hi all:

I'm looking for the menulink destination strings for the default Confluence menu options "Doc Import" (uploadimport.action) and "View Wiki Markup" (viewpagesrc.action). I'm sure I can do these by explicitly calling the actions, but if there's a quicker way I'm all for it!

Are there menulink destinations for these targets?

Oh, also, the "mail" link doesn't seem to work. When I set a compound-menuitem to point to "amil" it doesn't show in the menu.

Thanks,

The mail link will only appear when you have mail accounts associated with the space.

Furthermore the watch links will only appear when you have an SMTP account associated with the server.

There are no links defined by builder for 'doc import' or the 'view wiki markup', however if you wish to create one for yourself, then you will find that URL menulink aliases will be most useful to you

    Thanks Alain, that looks great!

That said, I'm having a problem trying to use the feature in Builder 3.3.4-M4. When I go to the Builder Administration screen, none of the tab panels loads its content. When the mouse hovers below the tabs, I see a spinning watch cursor, but the content does not appear.

    Any ideas?

That sounds like the sypmtoms which ocurr when you are using the pre conf 2.10 version of builder on 2.10, or the post 2.10 version on pre 2.10.

Yes, my fault – I am on 2.10 but wanted to check out the builder-search macro, which looks great but seemed only to be in the older Builder candidate.

Anyway for me to back up my themes, or do I need to copy them out by hand and start over?

The {builder-search} macro is available in both versions of 3.3.4, if you are using confluence 2.10 then you should use this file.

You can backup your data through the backup tool in confluence admin, however you will need to have the right version of builder installed for that interface to work (it relies on DWR, which is the difference between the two releases - confluence prior to 2.10 did not include DWR2 with the base install, so the pre 2.10 jar contains a copy of the DWR2 code. Post 2.10, confluence itself contains the DWR2 code and including it within the jar breaks the classloader - hence two releases of each version)

Uninstalling builder will not remove your layout data, builder will always upgrade gracefully (and in most cases downgrade gracefully - 3.0.x will not downgrade well, but I doubt you will be wanting to use that version anyway) ... to remove your layout data you will need to use the 'delete layout data' tool on the backup tab of the builder admin action.

Your layout data is also included within the full-site confluence backup, so keeping copies of these will allow you to restore your layouts to previous versions.

That's looking just beautiful. Many many thanks.
