I've tried exporting a space that uses the Builder Theme to HTML, but apparently the default theme was used by the exporter.

Is there a way to use the Builder Theme in the export? Or is there a simple way to convert a Builder layout to a template usable by either Confluence's built-in HTML exporter or the AutoExport plugin?

We use Confluence to author documentation for our software, and then the AutoExport plugin to export the pages to static HTML before hosting them on our website. Builder looks very interesting, but if we cannot export the pages, we won't be able to use it.

Thank you very much!

You could use wget or curl to take copies of the builder output.

It's doable but there are many practical complexities to address, which would negate the benefits of using Builder.

Wget and curl are far from complete crawlers.
I tried using Offline Explorer Pro on a simple builder site, but

      • it downloads a bunch of things it should not (eg see below a partial list)
      • a simple collapsible menu (similar to Documentation Theme) doesn't work
      • {viewdoc} macros go to the original confluence which defeats the purpose...
