When working with Adaptavist on a support request or consultancy project, we may ask you to send us the storage format of a Confluence page. If you are unfamiliar with that process, use these instructions.

  1. On the page you need the storage format from, go to the Tools menu on the top ribbon. Depending on your Confluence version, this may say Tools or it may be an ellipsis.

  2. Select View Storage Format.

  3. A pop-up window appears, with code that looks something like this:

  4. Copy and paste all of the code into a simple text editor such as Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac).

  5. Save the file - the default extension should be fine.

  6. Attach the file to the relevant support ticket or email reply.
