Putting in individual space headers

I have a site with a hompage and 5 spaces.
The homepage uses a layout called MAINUCF, and the others use WORKSPACE- Duplicate of mainucf.
I want to put in individual headers for each individual space. For example- the homepage should have a header called Curri Align, and one of the other spaces should have a header called Curri Align: Bio, another have a Curri Align: Chem header, etc.

When I uploaded the currialign.gif into the resources file and inserted the maro in the menu bar of the MAINUCF layout. This header was meant for the homepage only. However, it was done globally across the site. It was displayed on all the other spaces.

How can I change this, so that each space can have it only header?? I know that their using somewhat the same kind of layouts.
