The Align macro allows to easily define the alignment of content. There may be times when you want to set the alignment of text, only to find that the HTML macro has been disabled or the HTML-tag macro has been configured not to allow div tags, etc. The Align macro has been developed as a simple way to align content.

Instructions 

  1. Navigate to the page you want to edit.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Click the position on the page where you want to insert the macro.
  4. Click Insert More Content Other Macros

  5. Select the Align macro from the Macro Browser.

  6. Select the desired alignment in the Insert macro screen.

    Class

    Option to apply a custom CSS class to the element. Enter the CSS class name(s) to apply to the macro (case sensitive); multiple classes can be separated by a space or comma. Do not include the . selector in the class name. Classes must be part of your Global Confluence CSS or defined in a CSS Stylesheet macro that you have added to your page.

  7. Click Insert. The macro placeholder displays with space to add your content to the body of the macro.

Justified

Set the Alignment parameter to justify.

Right-aligned
