Content Formatting Macros for Confluence Server and DC

Content Formatting Templates can be used to create a page in no time at all, containing all the macros that fit your needs. You can use the templates as they are by simply adding your content, or use them for inspiration and re-purpose them to suit your needs. See Template Previews for inspiration by viewing how our templates render in your Confluence pages.

  1. Go to the space and parent page where you would like the page with a template to be created.

  2. Click the Create from Template ellipsis next to Create at the top of the page.

If you create a page from a template from outside of a space, such as in the main Confluence Admin section, you will be prompted to select a space. The template page will then be created in the specified space as a child of a new parent page named Content Formatting for Confluence.
  3. Choose the Content Formatting Templates option from the list, then click Next.

  4. Enter a name for the new page, then select the desired template from the Templates drop-down list. Depending on the template selected, you will be prompted to enter additional details, e.g. the Multi-Page Journey template requires the name of each additional page.

  5. Click Next.

  6. Click Create. The new page or blog is displayed. Simply click the Edit button to add your content or make any other changes.
