Content Formatting Macros for Confluence Server and DC

Dialog

Used in conjunction with the Button macros, the Dialog macro allows the creation of AUI-styled dialogs that are triggered using a Button.

Usage

  1. Go to the form you wish to edit.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Click Insert More Content, and select Other Macros.

  4. Select the Dialog macro from the provided list.

  5. The macro will then appear on the page.

  6. At this point, add any content or macros into the dialog as required.

  7. Once saved, the Dialog will not appear until it is triggered, this can be achieved with a simple hyperlink to the ID on the page, however the Button works very well too. Follow the instructions to add a Button macro, and then set the url to be the same as the ID chosen when creating the dialog macro with a # in front of it.

  8. When the page is saved the button can be seen.
