Templates

Vortex's template feature offers a powerful and efficient way to manage request and cost limits across multiple channels within your organisation or team. These customisable templates provide a centralised approach to implementing consistent AI usage policies, ensuring better control and cost management.

Create a Template 

To create a template:

1. Navigate to the Templates screen. This screen shows a table of all configured templates. 
2. Click Create template.
3. From the Assign to drop-down, click the team you wish to assign the template to. 
4. Enter a Name for your template. All template names must be unique. 
5. Configure your resource limits by clicking Add new limit. You can add cost and request limits here. 
   Once your limit is configured, click the tick next to it to save. 
6. Once all limits have been configured, click Create. 

Edit a Template

To edit a template, click the three-dot button next to the selected template and click Edit. 

Here you can add new limits, change existing limits, edit the template name, and change which team it is assigned to.

Delete a Template

Deleting a template is permanent. Deleting a template removes all usage limits for any Channels using that template. 

To delete a channel:

1. Select the three-dot button next to the template you wish to delete and select Delete.
2. Confirm the deletion by clicking Delete.
