If you have accidentally upgraded ScriptRunner to the paid version (i.e 4.x) but you want to continue using the free one (until you are ready). You may want to downgrade your version of ScriptRunner for JIRA. back to the free one (3.1.4 is the latest free version for JIRA 6.3/6.4)
In general, it's hard to know if you can downgrade a JIRA add-on. The data isn't removed by uninstalling them in general. So it should be fine to uninstall a later version and upload an earlier version. The hard part is knowing if the schema of the data was changed by the upgrade. Very few add-on upgrades make this explicit.
There have been no schema changes made to ScriptRunner for JIRA from version 3.1.4 (the latest free version) to 4.x (the paid version). All of your scripts should remain as they were if you follow the step-by-step guide to downgrade.
