WIP V2 - Migrate from ScriptRunner for Jira Server to Cloud
Introduction
Are you thinking of migrating from Jira Server to Jira Cloud? Do you want to take your ScriptRunner scripts with you? This document aims to guide you through the steps needed to make your migration as smooth as possible
Automatic migration between Server/Data Center and Cloud does not exist due to the huge differences in the programming model and API between the two platforms. The process of migration involves manually rewriting your Server scripts to make them compatible with the Cloud platform.
Whatever the complexity of your ScriptRunner set-up, the size of your instance, or the other apps on your instance, Adaptavist is here to help. We offer several support channels to help you through the migration process:
- Cloud Migration Assistant - When migrating an instance with ScriptRunner from Server to Cloud, we recommend you use Atlassian's Cloud Migration Assistant.
- Adaptavist Cloud Migration Service - Our cloud migration service can help you to migrate ScriptRunner for Jira Server scripts to your new Cloud instance.
- Microscope - Use our Microscope app to help identify critical apps, allowing you to make pre-migration decisions to simplify your migration process.
- Scripting Service - Need help rewriting your Server scripts for Cloud? Our Scripting Service can help.
