The problem manifests itself as displaying the raw HTML syntax of the rendered output of the macros.
Downgrade to the previous release of the plugin. To do this:
As of Theme Builder 3 beta 24, we have added similar features to our builder-show macro and builder-hide macro.
The new parameters are documented (see links to macros above) and allow you to filter content based on user, group or space-level privileges. There is also an @anonymous meta user and group for showing/hiding content to/from anonymous (not logged in) users.
It's possible that a future release of Theme Builder may include an @author and @owner meta user for displaying content to the author of an object (page, blogpost, space) or the owner of the space respectively.
