Run a Project Audit
Only administrators can run a Microscope scan.
Run a Microscope Project Audit to create a CSV file showing a detailed overview of all projects configured on your instance.
- Ensure you have installed Microscope on the instance you want to scan.
- Log into the instance as a Jira administrator.
Click the Cog to the right of the top ribbon to open the Administration menu and select Add-ons.
Microscope is visible in the sidebar.- Select Project Audit.
- Click Run Scan.
Your CSV file is downloaded.
Open your file.
We suggest opening your CSV in a spreadsheet software for easier analysis.
Data provided
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Key | Unique identifier of your project. |
| Name | Name of the project. |
| Lead | User assigned as the lead of the project. |
| Category | Category assigned to the project. |
| Type | Jira project type (for example, software). |
| Archived | Details if the project is archived or active. |
| Number of issues | Total number of issues in project. |
| Date of first issue creation | The date the first issue was created in the project. |
| Issues created in the past 30 days | Number of issues created in the project in the last 30 days. |
| Issues updated in the past 30 days | Number of issues updated in the project in the last 30 days. |
