Hierarchy 9.20: Lock Saved Views, improved link sharing, and more!

Visualise work completion with Issue Progress Bar

This column displays a status summary of direct child issues for the categories To Do, In Progress, and Done. It helps track progress based on the number of issues completed. 


Links are now shorter and easier to share around. Hierarchy for Jira now recognises your view when you click Copy Shareable URL—so, clicking Copy Shareable URL while in Project View provides you with a link that also opens in Project View instead of Global View.

Lock Saved Views

You can now lock important Saved Views to prevent others from editing them. Anyone can lock and unlock a Saved View. You can still make changes to a Saved View, but you cannot save those changes without first unlocking the Saved View. Alternatively, you can click Save as new view to create a new Saved View with the changes applied.


Group-By supports Jira Teams and custom fields

Added support for grouping issues based on a custom text or custom number field. If you have Jira Teams in your workspace, you can also group your issues based on them. Issues that do not fall into any groups will be displayed under the "Other" category. As a bonus, the number of issues in each group is now displayed on a badge to make reading easier.

New selection for Filters and JQL

Switching between a Jira filter and JQL is now easier using a new drop-down selection.


Add description column on the table

The Description field contains most of your important information about an issue. This field can now be added as a column and saved in your views.

Improved readability for dates

All dates are now displayed as mmm dd, yyyy to make reading easier.

We are moving from Nolt to Aha!

We're saying goodbye to our old idea portal and moving to a new one. You can submit ideas and suggestions on the new platform just like in the old one, except it's now easier to browse and vote for existing ideas.

  • Fixed a bug that caused Quick Filters to not save correctly
  • Fixed an issue which caused custom field IDs to be displayed in CSV exports instead of their field name.
