Radio Buttons

Radio buttons should be used when you want your users to select a single option from a group. The Radio Buttons macro lets you quickly set up a group of buttons for your users to choose from.

Radio button groups are always required, as the use of the field assumes you want at least one option to be picked. If you're going to allow users not to select an option, you should use the Checkboxes macro instead.

How to add a Radio Buttons macro to a form:

  1. Create your form using the Forms for Confluence macro

  2. Add the Form - Radio Buttons macro in the Forms for Confluence macro body.

  3. Set a Label for the group; this appears next to the radio button options.

  4. Set a Field Name for the group.

    1. Optional: Set a Description for the group.

  5. Define the multiple-choice options by giving a Name and a Value for each selection.

Click the "+" sign and fill in the fields to add more options.
  6. Once all desired options have been added, choose the option you want to be Selected by default.

  7. Click Insert to save the macro and see a placeholder box, in the order fields will appear, on the page.

  8. Publish the page to see the final field on your form.
