Checkboxes should be used when you want your users to select one or more options from a set. Checkbox button groups let you quickly set a group of checkboxes for your users to choose from.

How to add a Checkboxes macro to a form:

  1. Create your form using the Forms for Confluence macro.

  2. Add the Form - Checkboxes macro in the Forms for Confluence macro body.

  3. Set a Label for the group; this appears next to the checkbox options.

  4. Set a Field Name for the group.

    1. Optional: Set a Description for the group.

    2. Optional: Check the Make this field required option if you want this as a mandatory field in the form.

  5. Define checkbox button options by giving a Name and a Value for each.

  6. Click the "+" sign and fill in the fields to add more options.

    1. The Selected box determines if the option is selected by default. You can leave them all unchecked to have no options chosen by default.

  7. Click Insert to save the macro and see a placeholder box; in the order fields will appear, on the saved page.

  8. Publish the page to see the final field on your form.
