Billing FAQ
Have a question about Everyday Toolkit billing? We've got answers. If you don't find what you're looking for, submit a ticket with Adaptavist Support and we'll get you sorted.
Do I have to pay to try Everyday Toolkit?
No! We offer a free 14-day trial, which allows all users in the workspace full access to the tool.
Is functionality limited in the free-trial period?
No limitations at all. During your 14-day trial, your team will have access to everything that a paid subscription offers.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. We integrate with Stripe for payment processing.
Is my credit card information secure?
Absolutely. We never store your credit card details, and we use the trusted and secure Stripe payment gateway.
Can I pay via an invoice?
Currently, we do not support payment via an invoice.
If you would like to commit to an annual subscription of Everyday Toolkit, please contact us at slacksupport@adaptavist.com, and we can discuss an annual license fee and terms.
For monthly subscriptions, we require a credit card to be on file with Stripe, where you will be automatically billed at the end of the monthly billing cycle.
Not everyone in Slack wants to use the app. Can I pay for a per-user subscription?
We believe that all Slack users benefit from increased collaboration on tasks, so our pricing is based on your entire Slack workspace’s active users. We utilize Slack's APIs to determine the count of active users on a monthly basis.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Once you cancel, you will still be able to fully use your account until the end of the monthly billing cycle. You can also re-instate your subscription during this time period if you change your mind.
If you no longer want to use Everyday Toolkit, please cancel the subscription prior to uninstalling the app.
- Only the original billing contact can cancel the subscription. This option is offered on their app Home tab and can also be accessed via the /tools account slash command.
- If you uninstall the app without canceling the subscription (Oops!), please contact our support team to request a proper cancellation.
How do you determine the number of Slack users?
We check Slack for active users before each billing date and bill based on currently active users.
Our user count excludes:
Bots
Deleted users
Shared channel users from other workspaces (for both public and private channels)
Single-channel guests
Multi-channel guests
Do you charge for guests?
No, we do not charge for guest users.
We’ve recently added new employees. What happens to my billing?
Adaptavist checks your active Slack users on the day of billing. If your team increases or decreases, your monthly billing will reflect that user count.
I work for a nonprofit/charity. Are there any discounts available?
Adaptavist supports nonprofits and charities. Contact support at slacksupport@adaptavist.com for details on how we can help.
