Encryption Scheduler
The Encryption scheduler lets you automate the process of encrypting applicable attachments. This provides an added layer of security, ensuring files not encrypted in real-time are secure.
While the process runs, changes to the Encryption for Jira configuration cannot be made. However, the Encryption scheduler can be configured to run at times that best suit your workload.
AWS S3 storage
We currently support storing attachments only in the local file system and not in Amazon S3. Keep an eye out for further development. 👀
To configure the Encryption scheduler:
- Navigate to the Encryption scheduler using the left-hand menu.
- Use the toggle option in the Scheduler settings tab to enable encryption scheduling.
- Use the checkbox options to select the days to run the process.
- Select a Start At time.
- Click Save changes when done with configuration.
Scheduler history
Click the Scheduler activity history tab for a detailed view of previous scans. Sort by Status or Timestamp, if desired.
