The Colgroup Tag macro allows you to format one or more columns in a table, such as adding styling to a group of table cells. This macro must be used within a table macro.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the page you want to edit.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Click the table macro placeholder where you want to add the Colgroup Tag. The macro must be placed within a Table macro before the Th, Tbody, or Tr macro.
  4. Click Insert More Content Other Macros.

  5. Select the Colgroup Tag macro from the Macro Browser.

  6. Use the macro parameters to customize the columns according to your table setup. These attributes are not supported in HTML5.

    Option to apply a custom CSS class to the element. Enter the CSS class name(s) to apply to the macro (case sensitive); multiple classes can be separated by a space or comma. Do not include the . selector in the class name. Classes must be part of your Global Confluence CSS or defined in a CSS Stylesheet macro that you have added to your page.

  7. Click Insert. The macro placeholder displays with space to add content into the body of the macro.
