The Trademarks macro makes it easy to add customizable trademarks to content.
Although you can insert a TM symbol directly using the Page Editor, there are some issues to be aware of:
The TM symbol is often difficult to read if you are using a small font
The TM symbol is not supported by all browsers, operating systems and fonts
If you hyperlink a trademark, the TM symbol often gets and underline making it look odd
It’s not possible to globally brand all trademarks to use the same text color, fonts, etc.
The Trademarks macro allows you to overcome all these issues:
It’s clearly readable with more fonts and sizes
It works on even the oldest browsers
The TM symbol never gets underlined
Trademarks can be branded using style sheets
Please note that in order to assign a Tooltip to an element the targeted element must first be created.
Go to the form you wish to edit.
Click Insert More Content, and select Other Macros.
Select the TM macro from the provided list.
Complete the desired fields.
The class attribute of the element
Specifies that the macro will be displayed inline with the surrounding content
The macro will then appear on the page.
