1.1

13 Jun 2019

This update marks the official release of AutoBlocks for Jira.

What’s New

  • UI improvements includes a Manage Workspaces home page that lists workspace details. Tutorials can now be found next to the Events tab.

  • A workspace approve-and-deploy workflow allows editors to propose workspaces to admins for deployment to Jira.

  • The AutoBlocks Editor global permission is now available in Jira.

  • A historical timeline now appears in each workspace, which logs versions of the automation, aids in review, and allows you to revert a workspace to a previous state.

  • Improvements to the Send Email block allow you to specify reporter, assignee, watchers, and more.

1.0.21

18 Apr 2019

What’s New

  • You can now use the set to block to add watchers to issues. For example, you can combine the set to block with the Create list with block to add multiple watchers in a single automation.

Fixes

  • Renamed the right-click options Internal and External to Wrap and Expand to more accurately describe what the options do to blocks.

  • Fixed an issue that removed the AutoBlocks top navigation menu item for users who logged out of AutoBlocks.

1.0.18

16 Apr 2019

What’s New

  • AutoBlocks for Jira is now compatible with Data Center.

1.0.17

03 Apr 2019

What’s New

  • When you export a workspace, you can now import it into another Jira instance (also with AutoBlocks installed) via Manage Apps in Jira. Once imported, the workspace can be manipulated and managed from the Jira instance to which it was imported. This allows you to build and export automations in a staging instance, and then import to a live instance where the automation can be moved into production.

  • The UI for the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) in Manage Apps has been improved for AutoBlocks-generated plugins.

1.0.16

01 Apr 2019

What’s New

  • AutoBlocks requires a Java compiler to be installed on the Jira server in order to create automations. In this release, we have added a compiler check, and if a compiler is not found, a prompt appears to allow Jira admins to install one.

1.0.14
