AutoBlocks for Jira now supports the most recent Blockly version (July 2019 release).
The Recipes section has been added to the toolbox. Recipes houses pre-built block sets for useful automations. Simply drag an assembled recipe onto a workspace to begin.
Anonymous analytics are now being collected for AutoBlocks to provide Adaptavist with a better understanding of how customers use the app. Tracked data, which is only for internal use (see our EULA), includes install/uninstall timestamps, SENs, and information related to the popularity of event types and use patterns. Anonymous analytics are enabled with this version of AutoBlocks if the Atlassian Analytics setting is enabled, though admins can opt out at any time.
Jira admins have the ability to update the Anonymous Analytics setting for AutoBlocks via the administration settings.
Fixed an endpoint issue that allowed any user using the Project block to see all projects rather than only those the have permission to see.
Fixed an issue where spaces in text fields were deleted, which was breaking concatenation.
Fixed an issue that, in some automations, was causing an incorrect "Infinite loop detected" message to display.
Fixed the logic of comparison operators (=, <, >, etc.).
Fixed an issue that caused AutoBlocks executions involving JQL to fail.

This version of AutoBlocks addresses a severe security vulnerability that was recently identified which affects all version of AutoBlocks prior to 1.2.2. The vulnerability means that a user with permissions to edit workspaces could read files and network resources (such as http) accessible to the Jira server via an XML external entity (XXE) flaw. If you have any questions, please raise a support request and reference BLK-639.

AutoBlocks for Jira is now compatible with Jira 8.3.
Added tooltip descriptions for each block, which appear on hover.
Triggers now only run if the workspace owner has permission to view the issue from the event.
The When an Issue is [Created] as [Variable] trigger now runs as the workspace owner rather than the triggering user.
Fixed the Issue Search block, which was incompatible with Jira 8.
Fixed the automated messages in AutoBlocks to reflect current app terminology.
Changed the placeholder text used by certain blocks from FOO, to ABC, to clarify the idea.

- This update marks the official release of AutoBlocks for Jira.
UI improvements includes a Manage Workspaces home page that lists workspace details. Tutorials can now be found next to the Events tab.
A workspace approve-and-deploy workflow allows editors to propose workspaces to admins for deployment to Jira.
The AutoBlocks Editor global permission is now available in Jira.
A historical timeline now appears in each workspace, which logs versions of the automation, aids in review, and allows you to revert a workspace to a previous state.
Improvements to the Send Email block allow you to specify reporter, assignee, watchers, and more.

You can now use the Set To block to add watchers to issues. For example, you can combine the Set To block with the Create List With block to add multiple watchers in a single automation.
Renamed the right-click options Internal and External to Wrap and Expand to more accurately describe what the options do to blocks.
Fixed an issue that removed the AutoBlocks top navigation menu item for users who logged out of AutoBlocks.

When you export a workspace, you can now import it into another Jira instance (also with AutoBlocks installed) via Manage Apps in Jira. Once imported, the workspace can be manipulated and managed from the Jira instance to which it was imported. This allows you to build and export automations in a staging instance, and then import to a live instance where the automation can be moved into production.
The UI for the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) in Manage Apps has been improved for AutoBlocks-generated plugins.

AutoBlocks requires a Java compiler to be installed on the Jira server in order to create automations. In this release, we have added a compiler check, and if a compiler is not found, a prompt appears to allow Jira admins to install one.

You can now export workspaces to develop automations on a staging environment. Once automations are approved for production, you can import and install the jar file via Manage Apps in Jira.

AutoBlocks updated to the latest Blockly version, which introduces new indicators for block connections, the ability to recover items from the trash, and various bug fixes.
A new Toolbox section called Fields was created, and some blocks from the Projects section were moved there.
